｜NMMST 8K Ocean Theater

The theater utilizes an advanced projection system produced by "Delta Electronics," featuring the first high-brightness 8K laser projector in Taiwan. It is also the first 8K projection theater in the country.

In order to provide visitors with a sense of entering the ocean from the moment they step into the theater lobby, the overall design is centered around a blue color scheme, complemented by jellyfish-shaped lights hanging from the ceiling, creating a fresh and lively atmosphere. Inside the theater, a deep blue ocean ambiance is created, with projected images of ocean waves and bubbles on the walls, immediately immersing visitors in a strong maritime atmosphere.

In terms of the interior facilities of the theater, each screening can accommodate approximately 300 visitors. The theater features a giant screen that is approximately 22 meters high and 29 meters wide.

【The Adventure of the Sea Lion】

• Film Synopsis:
  Between steep cliffs and roaring oceans, there resides a group of critically endangered Australian sea lions. Among them is a unique young sea lion named Otto, who, with the help of his mother and companions, learns to navigate the beautiful yet harsh coastal environment. During Otto's journey of growth, he encounters magnificent humpback whales, cunning octopuses, and fierce great white sharks, leading us to embark on this adventure of hope and miracles alongside Otto.

【Amazing Mighty Micro Monsters】

• Duration: Approximately 40 minutes
• Introduction: Do you know that there are numerous super-powered animals in the world? Meet the beetles that can spew chemical flames and carry heavy objects, the scorpions with incredible crushing power and bioluminescence in the dark, the spiders with invisibility and hypnotic abilities, and even insects that can completely transform into another creature. This film takes you on a journey from the perspective of insects, showing how these immensely talented little creatures have become the true rulers of our world.

【Legend of Lost Ships】

• Duration: 12 Minutes
• Introduction:The Bureau of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture has spent two years producing the "Underwater Archaeology Documentary - Secrets of the Sunken Ships," the first complete underwater archaeology documentary in Taiwan. The filming team and archaeologists braved strong ocean currents and immense water pressure, diving to a depth of 40 meters, all to present the rare sight of the sunken ship site to the public. The film also includes an overseas interview with Ms. Zhou Yuan, a survivor of the "President Hoover" shipwreck that occurred over 70 years ago. Through her firsthand experience, the film reveals the hidden stories from that significant era.

• The payment must be completed one hour within the order has been placed. The system will automatically cancel the order after the payment due.

｜Visiting Notes

• Please proceed to the Ocean Theater to confirm the desired screening session. 10 minutes before the theater starts, present this product's QR code at the entrance on the first floor of the theater for admission.
• For discounted ticket types (including free admission), valid identification must be presented for verification upon entry.
• The duration of the Ocean Theater screening is approximately 40 minutes. Admission will be allowed 10 minutes before the screening starts, and entry will be prohibited 10 minutes after the screening begins to maintain the quality of the presentation.
• For any other matters not mentioned here, please refer to the announcements made at the theater.

• Each product is limited to one time use.
