The largest zoo in Taiwan - The Taipei Zoo.

The Taipei Zoo is one of the top ten urban zoos in the world. It is not only the largest zoo in Taiwan but also the largest zoo in Southeast Asia! Come and see the chubby star panda, the adorkable penguin, and the super-popular baby Malayan tapir is definitely worth the price.

Enjoy a panoramic view of Taipei's skyline, including a distant view of Taipei 101, with a 360-degree perspective - Maokong Gondola

The Maokong Gondola is the first gondola system in Taipei City. It is a 4.03-kilometer-long, 30-minute one-way gondola system manufactured by the French company POMA. There are four stations along the route: "Taipei Zoo Station", "Taipei Zoo South Station", "Zhinan Temple Station", and "Maokong Gondola Station" for passengers to board and exit. The three most beautiful moments of the gondola ride are the clouds after the rain, the evening sunset, and the brilliant night view. As you ride the gondola, you can see the moving MRT train, the riverside park along the Jingmei River, and the giraffe incinerator as you move up and down the mountain. When you come to the 2 stations at the corner, there is a big turn, which opens up the view of the highway traffic. After the Zhinan Temple Station, you will enter a V-shaped steep slope, which is the climax of the gondola journey and will be remembered for a long time.

Maokong Mini Tea Sealing DIY Experience allows visitors to send a package of Maokong Tieguanyin tea to their distant friends or themselves.

Visitors to various scenic areas often enjoy sending postcards, and Maokong Leisure Agriculture Area has developed a series of mini tea sealing DIY activities related to tea. This allows visitors to send a packet of Maokong's Iron Goddess of Mercy tea to their loved ones or themselves. In our activity design, we have incorporated a sentimental element. In addition to sending a packet of tea, visitors are encouraged to write a letter, a sentence, a blessing, or even just a single word. They can seal it together with the Iron Goddess of Mercy tea in a specially designed postcard envelope.

This way, when their loved ones or themselves receive the heartfelt gesture, they can also enjoy a comforting cup of Maokong's Iron Goddess of Mercy tea.
